It starts from Barmer at 06:45 AM (Rajasthan) and travels via Samdhari, Jodhpur, Merta Road, Bikaner, Suratgarh, Hanumangarh, several stations in Punjab (including Bathinda and Dhuri), and Haryana (including Ambala Cantt and Chandi Mandir) and reaches Kalka on the second day of the journey at 05:55 AM.

The arrival time of the train at Chandigarh station is 05:10 AM and the departure time from Chandigarh station is 05:20 AM.
